I’m Daniel Judd Sterling, a multidisciplinary graphic designer and illustrator based in Salt Lake City, Utah. I specialize in brand identity systems, rebranding, presentation design, and digital/print collateral, with professional experience spanning in-house, freelance, and client-facing creative work.

Over the course of my career, I’ve designed for organizations ranging from healthcare and tech to hospitality, entertainment, and tabletop gaming. My background includes full-time roles with Powered by MRP, Interform, and Utah’s Hogle Zoo, along with freelance work for clients including Spinnaker Support, HCA Healthcare, Meyer Gallery, and Dragon Trappers Lodge. I’m especially drawn to projects that require both strong visual craft and clear strategic thinking; work that not only looks compelling, but helps a brand communicate more effectively across every touchpoint.

Outside of design, I’m inspired by illustration, creature design, speculative worlds, and the sense of discovery that first got me interested in visual storytelling in the first place. That curiosity still shapes how I work: I love building systems, exploring multiple directions, and finding the version of an idea that feels the most vivid, intentional, and alive.
